Lexington, KY — Today, U.S. Congressman Andy Barr (R-KY) is endorsing Jim Coleman to be the next Representative from Kentucky’s 88th House District.
“Jim Coleman is a prominent businessman, successful farmer, and a Kentuckian through and through,” said Congressman Barr. “I’ve been privileged to know Jim for several years and have been thoroughly impressed with his love of Central Kentucky. Jim possesses a passionate commitment to serve others and has a patriotic devotion to our country and the American dream.
“As the owner and operator of the historic Coleman Crest Farm in Lexington, Jim will be the champion farmers and small business owners need in Frankfort as they battle inflation, a labor shortage, and so many other critical issues,” Congressman Barr continued. “I am grateful to Jim for his willingness to serve our Commonwealth at such an important time and I am thrilled to endorse him to be the next State Representative from the 88th District.”
“I’m honored to receive Congressman Andy Barr’s endorsement for my candidacy for the Kentucky State House of Representatives,” said Jim Coleman. “After the passing of my dear wife Cathy, Congressman Barr was my first friend who encouraged me to return home to Lexington to restore my family’s farm Coleman Crest and to make a difference in my community. If the voters provide me the privilege to represent them in Frankfort this November 8th, I’ll be working closely with Congressman Barr to improve the lives of all of my constituents in the 88th State House District.”
