Today, Andy Barr’s re-election campaign filed its second quarter report with the Federal Election Commission. The campaign raised just over $913,000 in the quarter covering the period beginning April 1 and ending June 30. This includes more than $710,500 raised since the May 2 pre-primary report. The campaign finished the quarter with just over $2.76 million total cash on hand.
Of the total amount raised this quarter, approximately 60 percent is from individual donations.
Congressman Barr is particularly proud that 90 percent of individual contributions to his campaign this quarter have come from Kentucky donors.
“Since my first election in 2012, my team and I have worked hard representing the people of the Sixth District,” said Congressman Barr. “Kentuckians recognize that and have continued to support me based on the results we have delivered to the people of the Sixth District. I’m thankful for this strong support from my Kentucky home.”
